Somewhere along the way, we were told that in order to make it as a teacher, we had to hustle or sacrifice our personal lives.

So we started grinding.
We were the first cars there.
The last to leave.
Working on weekends and breaks.
Only to feel burned out by October.

And now we are at a crossroads.
Do we continue this school year the same way?
Or do we choose another path?

So we scavenge the internet for answers.
Only to feel overwhelmed by the noise and opinions online.
More confused about where to start than when we began.

Through the confusion, we know we are no longer available for the grind or the hustle.
The sacrificing ourselves for our calling.

We are stepping into a season where we want both.
Impact and freedom.
Ease and flow.
Clarity and confidence.

If this is you, welcome to your Poolside Teacher Era.

We are a movement of teachers who are here to make an impact without sacrifice or compromise.
Because the world has sold you the illusion that you can’t be a good teacher while working less.
That’s a lie.

You get to design your life to make a deeper impact while working less.

And that freedom doesn't start by working harder. It starts by designing a classroom that supports you instead of depending on you.

10-20 minutes a day. $14.

Here's what's included:

-14 daily audio lessons you can do from anywhere
-A live kickoff call on Day 1 to set your intention and your plan
-A live workshop on Day 7 to implement what's working
-A live closing call on Day 14 to lock in your systems before school starts

How it Works:

-Listen. A 10-20 minute audio drops each day.
-Implement. Spend 10-20 minutes doing that day's task.
-Done. No hustle. No guilt. Move on with your summer.

Phase 1:
Classroom Designer

In phase one, design a classroom where students naturally know where to go, what to do, and how your room operates before behavior problems have a chance to grow. And the best part is you go in with a plan to set up your classroom in a single weekend. No more overwhelm and frantic summers. We are sipping our chia, sketching out our classroom by the pool, on the couch, or in a vibey bookstore.

Phase 2:
Organized Classroom

In phase two, we are organizing our classroom to run itself. No more clutter. No more printing resources last minute. By the end, we will have an organized classroom that doesn't depend on us remembering everything.

Phase 3:
Calm Confident Classroom

In phase three, we are getting our students to listen to us on day one. No more bad observations, improvement plans, or chaotic days. We are setting the tone from the first day of school because, as the poolside teacher, we aren’t here to mess around. We have lives to change and won’t be wasting our time putting out fires all day.

Phase 4:
2 Weeks Planned and Prepped

In phase four, we are planning the first two weeks of school. We are no longer available to sacrifice our personal time for our calling. And we know that starts with planning ahead. No more weekend planning or Sunday scaries. Because we know pivoting takes way less time than starting from scratch every morning.

This is for the teacher who is:

-Done burning out by October
-Done trying every classroom management strategy in the book
-Done working 2+ hours before and after school

Not because those things are bad or wrong. But because we realize those things don’t make us a good teacher. How we show up does.

In my first year of teaching, I burned out by October, despite feeling like teaching was my calling since I was 5-years-old.

I was the first car there. The last to leave.
I was racing other teachers to the printer to make copies for that same day.
And I had the worst-behaved class in the school.

I had a choice to make…
Find an easier way to teach or leave the profession.

A year later, I was leaving at contract time, ahead in planning, and had my students help run the classroom.

And I didn’t impact my students less by working less.

I actually made a deeper impact on my students because I could show up in the moment and actually see them for where they were at.

Good teaching doesn’t come from hustling. It comes from having enough freedom to take care of yourself and change how you show up.

And over the next 14 days, I’m going to show you how to get that freedom back.

Because you are not here to be on a never-ending hamster wheel of tasks.
You’re here on a mission to change lives.

And it’s time you start off the year with an environment that will help you do that.

14 days. $14. We start on the 15th.

“Thank you so much!!!! Your advice has really helped me. I started 2 days ago, so I’ve been learning as much as I can and trying to get caught up since students started 3 weeks ago!! Today I spent all class teaching class discussions and modeling them and having them practice several times. It really helps to show them what I expect and hold them to it as I know you’ve talked about!!”

“I used to think I couldn’t get it all done during the work week, but now I know it’s possible with systems in place!”

“The biggest thing I’ve taken away so far is that time management and boundaries go hand in hand. Without one, you can’t succeed!”
